Finally a movie about ice cream! I’ve seen movies about mans before, not so sure if I’ve seen anything about frozen cream treats. Ice Cream Man is one of those flicks where I did not watch a trailer before buying a ticket. That may have been a mistake this time, because I’ll tell you straight up at the beginning of this review that this movie is not very good. I legitimately got to the point where I felt like leaving and going home. Dis Drawma Kingg never reviews movies that I don’t finish watching, and that’s literally the only reason I made it to the end. Gotta get that review out this week one way or the other. Just like a small town ice cream man, Drawma Kingg DELIVERS!
Sensation escapes me. Purpose becomes nonexistent. As I spin between the realms of reality and fantasy, all feeling disappears. Colors and sounds once vibrant are without meaning or stimulation. Are these thoughts indicative of an oncoming end? Maybe the opposite, a transitional perceptive experience not quantifiable through human thought patterns. To think that this is new when I still interpret through the old…
Nothingness would be easier to comprehend. A mind would have to grow into the unknown in order to integrate. Would we shut down at the sight of the next dimension? What permeates beyond earthly knowledge? Ignorance seems incompatible with inescapable wisdom. Myself is replaced with a self.
Is It Worth Watching?: No, I would not recommend the movie to anyone.
Final Thoughts: 2/10 Crowns. Ice Cream Man was a horribly written movie. One positive thing I can say about it is that it WAS scary. This was accomplished through disturbing depictions of kids attacking unsuspecting adults. Had they written a good script, they may have actually had a notable horror film here. By the end, you start asking yourself why anyone would want to see something of this crude nature. I probably wrote two incoherent paragraphs just to save you from even having to think about this movie any more than is necessary. All I really wanted was a story where ice cream was runnin’ around in exciting cinematic ways. Was that far too much to ask? Guess I gotta stop asking for things. Reverse psychology time! Oh Hollywood, I totally don’t want you to make a movie with great writing, acting, directing, and cinematography! And I totally don’t want every single character to be an ordinary cone full of ice cream!
