  • WUTHERING HEIGHTS 2026 Movie Review – Is It Worth Watching?

Recent episodes of drawmakingg.com have been wildly chaotic. Last week was my original grandiose which-way superhero comic – Interlock 2 (Drawma Kingg Sidequest #5, check it out on the new COMICS page of the website), and I was trapped in the 3rd dimension for two weeks before that! Currently, I am in my regular dimension, but I got stuck on some wuthering heights. Dis Drawma Kingg might as well talk about the new Wuthering Heights movie, since it has the same name as what I’m dealing with at the moment.

Please be aware that I have never read the book, and I don’t think I even watched a trailer for Wuthering Heights. The only thought I had walking into the theater was “uh this is some kind of romance story right?” Turned out to be a really dark and sad and twisted story. I guess you could argue it was a romance story as well, but I’m not even sure which side of that argument I am on. Generally, I think this movie was impressively directed. Acting and cinematography were also top quality.

As I dangerously sit atop of these heights, I begin to ponder what wuthering is. When have I seen someone wuther in my past? What exactly did it look like? If Dis Drawma Kingg wuthers, WHAT AM I DOING? Disappointingly, not all questions get answered in a lifetime. Oh, and yes, I did look up wuthering in a dictionary, and I still haven’t made sense of it. I feel like Norm Macdonald in an episode of David Letterman.

Is It Worth Watching?: Yes, particularly for the directors stylistic execution.

Final Thoughts: 8/10 Crowns. I thought Wuthering Heights was reasonably interesting, being far from your typical modern feel-good romantic film. My main criticism was that it felt a bit slow at times. K, I just climbed down from the top of that windy tree. I am perfectly safe now. I can go back to writing “normal” episodes of Drawma Kingg for next week. Probably won’t though.

  • ACE VENTURA: PET DETECTIVE 1994 Movie Review – Ending Explained

HELP! Dis Drawma Kingg is still trapped in the 3rd dimension since last episode! I have been looking around, and I cannot find a doorway out. OLACKIUS GLONGAR MAEPO MALORPA! See! Obviously I am not in my original dimension, because it still won’t let me tell you the secret code. More importantly, I’m trying to write a review of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, but how will I get out of the 3rd dimension in time to do so?

If only I were a pet walrus or giraffe or something. Maybe then, a pet detective could come find me in the 3rd dimension and take me home. Isn’t Ace Ventura the kind of guy that can transcend space and time? He better be, because all these new colors and geometric patterns are scaring me.

Must…write…movie…review…about…pet…detective. Dis Drawma Kingg thinks he has only seen this movie one time many years ago. I wasn’t sure if it would be any good from a 2026 lens. Jim Carrey’s delivery on his lines and a handful of the visual gags held up decently. Some of the other jokes and sentiments in the movie do not hold up well at all. These cringe moments may have even been obvious when it first came out. Hey, I’m actually critiquing a movie! Does that mean I am back in the 1st dimension?

Ending Explained: The detective finds the pet.

Final Thoughts: 6.5/10 Crowns. I am having difficulty figuring out if I only enjoy Ace Ventura for the childhood nostalgia factor. It definitely had me laughing at several parts though. Jim Carrey has such an undeniably strong presence in every scene. His ability to perform in front of the camera is incredible. I sure hope I made it back to my regular dimension. I will be even more upset than the reader if this 3rd dimension stuff goes on for yet another episode!

Is there an overly drawmatic kingg stuck in the 3rd dimension? Will he ever be able to write again?

Find out in the next weekly episode of drawmakingg.com !!!

  • RETURN TO SILENT HILL 2026 Movie Review – Does He Go Back There?

Yeah, I’m probably gonna go back there. To Silent Hill? That place is dangerous! Yes, I must return. Bro, going there is like the absolute worst decision any sensible human being could make. That’s true, yet I highly doubt I am the only person to make this decision. In Return To Silent Hill, the main character does go back there.

As Dis Drawma Kingg writes this review, dimensions shift, and I am now in another dimension where it is exactly the same, except I have 2 extra pieces of paper. How terrible my original dimension looks now by comparison! You may be thinking that I could just go to the store and get some of them 2 pieces of paper packs. You’re probably right. However, in this new dimension I am already having them.

I’m back in the regular dimension, so I have to hurry up and tell you what I actually thought about Return To Silent Hill. The first half seemed a perfectly fine retelling of the video game story, just with small changes. The only problem I had thus far – I was already aware of the plot from the video game. Sometimes when I know the plot already, I find it hard to get lost in a film. That can make it hard to judge exactly how good a movie is.  At first, I welcomed any changes to the source material just so I could be surprised. I even liked the new plot line about how Mary got her illness. Changes near the end made this version of the story a bit worse for me though. For instance – the reason why James did the horrible thing that he did. I won’t even dignify it by spoiling it for you, but I felt this iteration attempted to make James look a little bit less horrible. Overall, I didn’t hate the movie. I definitely think it should have been longer in order to expand on some of the characters, particularly Maria and Eddie.

Oh no the dimension shifted again, and I believe I am in a third dimension, except in this one I don’t even have the extra 2-pack of paper. Additionally, I am not a famous movie reviewer! Oh wait, isn’t that the same in the regular dimension? Now I don’t know if I’m in a third dimension or if I’m back in my original dimension! I’ll just have to stay observant and see if I notice anything out of place.

Final Thoughts: 7/10 Crowns. That might be a little generous at 7 Crowns. Return To Silent Hill actually warrants at least two watches. Now that I know the movie doesn’t end the way I would have preferred, I need to watch it again to see if I can just appreciate it for what it is. I thought they did an excellent job recreating the areas in the video games, and I liked the artsy version of the main character, James. I would say one of its main strengths is that it has a lot of scary creatures – if that’s the sort of thing the viewer looks for in horror movies. Quickly, before I go, I have to tell you an important secret code. OLACKIUS GLONGAR MAEPO MALORPA. OH NO! It won’t let me tell you the secret code! DIS DRAWMA KINGG MUST BE TRAPPED IN THE THIRD DIMENSION!

  • ANACONDA 2025 Movie Review – Is It Worth Watching?

Would you put your face right next to a large snake if your best friend asked you to do so? Would you move to Los Angeles with your bestie to make movies together? Anaconda 2025 wasn’t really about snakes being all snakey and stuff. This was a movie about two things: friendship, and taking risks to do the thing that truly makes you happy in life!

Early in the movie we get to see The Quatch (hope I spelled dat rite, spellin’ is important 2 luk like a kredibL riter). The Quatch is a low (or no) budget movie that the main characters made about the Sasquatch legend when they were kids. They found happiness in doing a fun project like that together and realize this is where happiness still can exist for them. These themes touched my overly dramatic heart as a writer that once said “Since I can’t seem to figure out how to get a job interview at any comic book publishers, I’m building my own personal website and writing anyway!.” This undertaking also led to my idea for Pictureless Comic Books as seen in Drawma Kingg Sidequest #s 1 through 4. I might have had no luck getting a job at a comic book company, but I was born to write comics! Now I have 4 issues available to read in the drawmakingg.com archive in just over 4 months time! Drawma Kingg Sidequest #5 is coming soon, and let me tell you, this one is an ADVENTURE! I think it will likely take the proverbial cake for best comic I ever wrote. I really hope you enjoy this upcoming exciting issue!

January is going to be an anaconda of a month for drawmakingg.com! Classics, new movies, Drawma Kingg Sidequest #5 will probably be finished before February, AND BIG SECRET REVEAL – The Drawma Kingg theme song has been composed and recorded! We’re talkin’ just mixing and mastering stages now! Cheers to 2026 starting strong!

It would be wrong of me not to comment on one particular concept in the film. Jack Black’s character comes to the realization that the movie has to be about something deeper, not just snakes. Didn’t we basically prove in episode number 36: ANGEL’S EGG Movie Review – What Is It About? that this is a myth? Movies don’t have to have a clear point! They can exist with or without appearing to be about something! But I’m probably wrong on all of this on account of being the man with (arguably) the lowest IQ in bipedal human history.

Is It Worth Watching?: Surprisingly, my answer is yes. It’s not extremely funny, yet it is quite likable – mostly due to the actors/characters.

Final Thoughts: 6/10 Crowns. The Dario Argento Inferno Poster was the best character, but Jack Black’s acting was really impressive in Anaconda. The themes of friendship and finding happiness were effective, making the film an enjoyable experience.

Thank you so much if you have read even a single episode of Drawma Kingg in 2025. It sincerely means the galaxy to me! Until episode #42 in 2026 – Dis Drawma Kingg is signing off!
