  • WUTHERING HEIGHTS 2026 Movie Review – Is It Worth Watching

Recent episodes of drawmakingg.com have been wildly chaotic. Last week was my original grandiose which-way superhero comic – Interlock 2 (Drawma Kingg Sidequest #5, check it out on the new COMICS page of the website), and I was trapped in the 3rd dimension for two weeks before that! Currently, I am in my regular dimension, but I got stuck on some wuthering heights. Dis Drawma Kingg might as well talk about the new Wuthering Heights movie, since it has the same name as what I’m dealing with at the moment.

Please be aware that I have never read the book, and I don’t think I even watched a trailer for Wuthering Heights. The only thought I had walking into the theater was “uh this is some kind of romance story right?” Turned out to be a really dark and sad and twisted story. I guess you could argue it was a romance story as well, but I’m not even sure which side of that argument I am on. Generally, I think this movie was impressively directed. Acting and cinematography were also top quality.

As I dangerously sit atop of these heights, I begin to ponder what wuthering is. When have I seen someone wuther in my past? What exactly did it look like? If Dis Drawma Kingg wuthers, WHAT AM I DOING? Disappointingly, not all questions get answered in a lifetime. Oh, and yes, I did look up wuthering in a dictionary, and I still haven’t made sense of it. I feel like Norm Macdonald in an episode of David Letterman.

Is It Worth Watching?: Yes, particularly for the directors stylistic execution.

Final Thoughts: 8/10 Crowns. I thought Wuthering Heights was reasonably interesting, being far from your typical modern feel-good romantic film. My main criticism was that it felt a bit slow at times. K, I just climbed down from the top of that windy tree. I am perfectly safe now. I can go back to writing “normal” episodes of Drawma Kingg for next week. Probably won’t though.
