  • MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE 2026 Movie Review – Is It Worth Watching?

Put on some energetic music! Let’s get pumped up! Masters Of The Universe just came out, and I know how much you like movies that derive from every fantasy action production ever made! Multiple characters keep punching each other on another planet, which is a direct reference to The Three Stooges Space War. Sword Use is a complete swipe from Monty Python And The Holy Grail. The ultra rare talking cat concept clearly borrows from Mariner Sunset. How could you go wrong spending your hard-labored money on an excessively familiar experience?

Now I know it must look like I completely make things up for the purposes of a joke, but I have something REAL to tell you! Walking out of the theater, driving home, parking – all was normal thus far. I get out of the Drawma Mobeel and grab the car door to close it, when suddenly I see a huge spark as if I have powers like He-Man in the movie! I believe this spark was nothing more than normal static electricity, however, it was literally the biggest spark of this type that I have ever seen. Also, me not knowing science enough to make conclusions, plus there were no witnesses.

Well u no I gotta. TESTING SUPER LIGHTNING POWERS! Hmmm I’ll just set up some sodee-pop cans in a row to see if I can zap ‘em down.

    “ZAP”

    “SUPER ZAP”

    “LITTLE ZAP”

    “MEDIUM-SIZED ZAP!!!”

Nothing happened. I’ll just have to try that regularly, regardless if I ever get any results. TRIAL 2: Okayy maybe I can turn the TV on with a spark instead of the remote control. TV blew up. Never mind on that one.

Is It Worth Watching?: No, unless you are a devoted He-Man fan that anticipates being happy with any new material.

Final Thoughts: 4/10 Crowns. All the acting is bad, and there are no interesting twists or surprises. Did you see the trailer? Then you’ve already seen the movie. Masters Of The Universe wasn’t for me at all. I’ll keep trying to zap pop cans though to see if I have any movie powers. Not sure if He-Man actually has lightning sparky powers or not. Bolts just seem to be in the air when he grabs the sword (a sword on screen being a direct reference to Monty Python).
